This week's been happening.....& weird. Put aside xueyun's & jo's celebration and others, (i shall update those in the next post), I 'd really like to share my experience wit you all.
You know how i loveeee to shop online right? Ever heard of the case of the coach online sale scam? It was a pretty major case, considering the amount of $$ customers were cheated of.
Well, recently, i fell victim to this scammer from one of the blogshop... a VS blogshop!
This owner claimed she was leaving s'pore soon, & so was 'supposedly' having a clearance sale of her VS stuffs. She was selling her things at preetty lowww prices, hence i decided to get a small travel case from her. & she did not offer meetups, which i tot was pretty normal, cos there's other shops which i dealt with before that's like that.
So, she gave me her account number. (wrong move, bitch.) After making my payment, she confirmed with me that she'll have my stuff mailed out latest by thurs, cos that's when she's leaving town. & attached a photo of my mail. On thurs, she closed down her blogshop. (leave town ma horrrrrr...)
Ok, so something was not right. But maybe i was being paranoid? She just mailed out recently! Give her some time, give her the benefit of doubt... Ok, cannot take it, emailed her! She went uncontactable.
I know i wasnt the only one kana scammed. When i was visiting other VS blogshops, they were also looking for her. Now, something was really wrong lar. DUH! We started sharing all the info we know about this scammer, & starting chatting like friends, & their tagboard soon became a forum of a sort. HAHAHA, how pple unite. =.=
I'd love it very much to share with you all the info about this scammer. But to protect myself, i shouldnt :) We're trying to bring her down...discreetly :)
Now. The thing is the scammer dunno how scary it is, when she offend the wrong pple...the pro pple i'd say, especially blogshops owners and others who are darn experienced. They know exactly what to do. Some of the them actually opened up a forum to gather up all the others(like me), and have already started compling evidence against her. They also went to seek advice from a lawyer in the forum. WOAH, damn zai!!!
What they gonna do is to track down by her account number: 1) google her acct number & we can find that she's operating other blogshops too!!! 2) directly track her down, one of them has connections to dbs bank or mr policeman can help us do so too :)
what they found out: a) she's still in s'pore...ya, like wat the hell right. b) which area she stays c) her real name i guess, they confirmed there's such a person.
And this is where what i learnt applies: We're taking this case to the small claims tribunal court! HAHAHA, COMMERCIAL LAWWWW....=.='''
We're all taking it slowww man. Giving her time to 'fess up! But i guess she's got no hope lar, we've begun to take actions lohhh. HAHAHA
Oh, wanna know how much i got cheated of? 8 bucks! LOL! Heart pain? Not really. =P An exchange for this interesting experience? u bet! =D If this case is really brought to court, count me in! Afterall, i'm a victim too!!!!!
So moral of the story is: Dun go for small gains, & only buy from whom you really trust. Shop online at your own risk!
