Today had the chance to meet up wit ohpeewhy & jas-has-ass finally!

So for lunch today, peiyu introduced ASTONS specialities @ the cathay.

I tried their crispy fried chicken,
jasmine tried hickory bbq chicken & py tried chargrill chicken.
We tried one another's chicken & i would say it's very nice :)
& it comes with two side dishes of your choice,
mine was onion rings & fries.
It only costs us $6.50. Preety affordable & very filling i tell ya!!!
Come. I bring you go next time. HAHA

I'm lovin' jasmine's 88 shimmering eyeshadow colours palette :)
& victoria's secret even more. haha
their fashion shows are nice!~~

SO. I spent today wit my JC peeps.

But first, we gotta fill our stomach before hitting the cinema.

& if i can ever get her&cindy to wear the OT uniform & take picture tgt,
then will i laugh to my heart's content. HAHAHA

We watched BEDTIME STORIES. I tot it was nice :)

Then on the way home, i bumped into mervyn in tampines lar!!!
It's been so long since we last saw each other.
so nice to see a familiar face by chance :)

MERRY CHRISTAMS & HAPPY BOXING DAY TO ALL!!!

on tuesday, i went to xue's house to have a sleepover.
& the main purpose is to have our finishing touch to zhige's present!
her this 21st's presents rock i tell you. hahs
so my contribution for the night: i drew!
& after that i was getting really sleepy & got useless, lol
but i managed to stay up watching horror movie way past midnight.

then on the next day which was christmas eve,
i set off for home from xue's house in the early morning,
dressed up & meet xue&cindy agn about one plus @ doby!
by that time, i was abeet like a walking zombie, sick&tired.
then i had to rush to get 3 gifts for the meetup wit mag&william&nana.
in the end, they gave me all their presents,shiok! haha, THANK YOU :)

so anyway, i spent yesterday's night wit these 3 pple @ settlers' cafe!
i really had a great time there!!! got really high playing games ;)
our xmas eve game package includes:
a light snack & free flow of drinks & waffle ice-cream!

they even gave us doorgifts which are chocs!
thats not all! we got a lucky draw! & we won a bottle of wine lar!

then they took a photo of us and we had a photo print free!
we also had 2 torch lights & vouchers!!! Wat a night!!!
& these were some of the games we played:

maybe next year's xmas eve i should organise this thing wit SG.
haha, but must book early like this time :)

Then off to vivocity for our christmas countdown!!!
Found a place at the roof to settle down & enjoy our free wine!
i drank like a few sips & i got really 'drunk' but not cos of the alcohol,
it's due to a lack of sleep, i was like in a drunken stupor.
then we went 4 a short walk ard & found ourselves @ macs.

Glad they extended the train operating hours.
Lucky i didnt sleep all way on my way home & miss my train stop. LOL
& the night's photos will be uploaded soon! so stay tune!

anyway, this TRUE YOGA company keeps calling me,
asking me to go collect their vouchers,
anyone interested?
if so, have to go collect it yourself. haha

So finally we spent our last 2 days in shanghai!
Even the chinese food served there are nicer!
I was very fascinated at the modernised shanghai,
cos i've been looking at ordinary buildings in other parts of china.
their buildings are more impressive than singapore's.

The famous tourist attraction.
All of my friends who've been to shanghai will know this place.

It's a pity i didnt catch the biggest plasma tv on ship on camera.
It's even bigger than this small ship.

What a beautiful sight!

& introducing the oriental pearl tower!

only the upper rounded part holds visitors like us!

so this is the fastest lift i've ever taken,

it's like shooting upwards from ground floor with no stops between.

& now that we're up in the tower,

it's time to take photos of the buildings from a skyhigh view.

it's like our orchard road, only with brighter signs :)

i've been looking at their zara and mango and other branded,

the stuffs there are as expensive as singapore.

We went back here again the next day for awhile.

then it was off to this location, another well-known place.

cheng huang temple, only that it's not really a temple.

they sell very nice local delicacies here.

the queue is longer than this.

it's like our donut craze in the early stages. HAHA

& finally we got our long-awaited dumplings.

the dumplings are just LOVEss!

eating them in cold weather is just shiok,

it tastes very good too!

then when u bite them, all the juice comes out in your mouth.

heavenly!

Time to leave the cheng huang temple.

Oh. I tried their sesame tangyuans and the meatballs.

the tangyuans were not bad, but the meatballs were better!

the meatballs were very big & they also have juices inside when u bite.

i wanna buy down the whole place man!

nanjing road again in the day.

this time we spent longer time there!

i gotta admit my brother's built is something to admire.

my tour guide said i looked like P.I.

cos it was raining slightly so i had my cap on.

oh ya, this was my fourth item that i bought.

china people have christmas decorations.

but they dun have the christmas mood there.

okok, we got really bored there.

cos the stuff are nice but not cheap so we dun bother buying much.

notice we keep taking ourselves around that place? LOL

During this trip, I realised i hate hand gloves

& hate wearing more than 2 layers.

so my long johns went on a wasted trip.

act strong know. haha

Off to lunch on this boat on the water that doesnt set sail.

it was abeet dizzy walking on the ship.

AND YES. It's time to say goodbye to china.

But first we gotta reach shanghai international airport.

& what better way to travel by china's maglev?

It's their newest concept & the WORLD's fastest train.

It's quite a thrill to sit in it

& at some parts the train tilt sideways, so it's like sitting a rollercoaster.

if i'm not wrong, maglev stands for 'magnetic levitation'

technology, people!

And thats all for the whole trip to china!

I really like shanghai!!!

I bought two more bags and 2 more wallets there also!

anyone wants to go there? haha

i shall start saving $$ to plan for my future vacations really.

This is the famous three kingdom city.
& dun rush me, i was still in wuxi here.

this is the 'dong fang'/place where they consummate the marriage.
& my dad ask me to go pose in front. now i wonder why i agree...

anyway, this whole place is used to be for shooting their local drama.
& now they use it as a tourist attraction.
this is the boat that we sat on.

another loner boat spotted.

& now we sit waiting for the show to start.
they're gonna bring us scenes of the 'three kingdom'.

i think i looked at the horses more than the actors.

maybe you wanna click on the photo to enlarge it,
but that's my surname on the flag. wahahaaha

my dad purposely walked up to thank that guy
& the poor guy was struggling to express that he got the message.
HAHA, as he had to remain still, he nod his head that looks like he's having a fit.

this particular day was the coldest man.
the wind was like daggers, and the cold made my face and hands numb.
then when we sat the open vehicle like the one at sentosa, the wind is wow.

ok, so shanghai is coming up at long last.
the loveliest place of all.
